Who we are
Mavix Marketing runs https://mavixmarketing.com. For any question about your data, email hello@mavixmarketing.com or write to our Dubai office at
ASPIN Commercial Tower, 16th Floor, Office 12, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
What we collect when you send an enquiry
- Your name, work email, phone number (required), website, and an optional message.
- The page you sent it from.
- Campaign and ad click details your browser saved when you arrived.
- Your country, which Cloudflare works out from your IP address.
A hidden field catches spam bots. Sending a form means you agree we can contact you,
including by text, about that enquiry. We use your details to reply and to review your
website, based on your consent and our legitimate interest in answering a business enquiry.
Where your enquiry goes
- Brevo saves you in a contact list called "Website enquiry", sends our
team a notification, and sends you one confirmation email that repeats only your first
name.
- Google delivers that notification to our Google Workspace mailbox
(hello@mavixmarketing.com) and to a Gmail inbox the team uses.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and processes requests, including IP addresses.
- Meta, if advertising is allowed (see "Your choices"). Our server may send Meta a "Lead" event
so it can measure our ads. It holds your email, name, phone and country as one-way hashed
codes, plus your IP address, browser, the page and Meta's browser IDs.
Tools that run on the site
These load through Google Tag Manager, only on mavixmarketing.com.
- Google Analytics records page views, button and link clicks (including
phone, email, WhatsApp and links to other sites), form starts, successful and failed
enquiries, file downloads, FAQ questions opened, calculator use, scroll depth and reading
time. Some events also carry Meta's browser IDs.
- Google Ads measures conversions from our ads and can build remarketing audiences.
- Meta Pixel sends Meta page views and site events to measure our ads.
- Microsoft Clarity makes heatmaps and session recordings, with form fields masked.
- RB2B identifies businesses that visit. For US visitors it can give us a
professional's name, work email, job title, company and LinkedIn profile. We use this to
follow up with interested companies, under the same retention and rights as enquiries.
- Ahrefs Web Analytics counts visits without cookies.
- Brevo tracker links visits to people already in our Brevo contacts.
The Cal.id booking calendar loads only if you open it.
How you arrived
For every visitor, the site keeps a note in your browser called mavix_attr_v1
with how you arrived, such as the source, campaign and first page. It is read for 90 days
and lets us credit enquiries to the right campaign. The full note reaches us only with an
enquiry. When analytics is allowed, its source and campaign values also go to Google
Analytics with each event.
Your choices
-
If your device's time zone is in Europe (the EEA, the UK or Switzerland), or your device
hides its time zone, you see a cookie choice first. Until you choose, Meta, Clarity, RB2B,
Ahrefs and Brevo do not run, and Google's tags set no cookies and send only cookieless
measurement pings.
- Everywhere else, the tools run by default.
-
Anyone can turn analytics and advertising off by choosing "Essential only" under Cookie
settings in the footer. Google's cookieless pings continue.
-
Advertising is allowed by default outside Europe, or after "Accept all", and never when
Global Privacy Control is on.
-
Emailing us to opt out covers the data we hold and future enquiries from that address. It
cannot switch off tracking in your browser, which needs Cookie settings or Global Privacy
Control.
Every cookie is listed in the cookie policy on this site.
Selling and sharing
We do not sell personal data for money. Under California law, Google Ads, the Meta Pixel
and server Lead events, RB2B and the Brevo tracker may count as "sharing". The do not sell my info page on this site explains
how to opt out.
How long we keep it
- Enquiry records and notification emails: 24 months from your last contact with us.
- Client records: for the engagement, plus up to seven years where needed for tax and accounting.
- Data inside analytics and advertising tools: each provider's own retention period.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can access, correct or delete your data, restrict or
object to how we use it, and get a portable copy. In California you can ask to know,
delete and correct your data and opt out of sale or sharing, and you will not be treated
differently for it.
Email hello@mavixmarketing.com. We reply within 30 days (45 days
where California law allows an extension, and we will tell you if we need it).
Children
This site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
