Pricing for paid ads

You pay for leads and sales, not for running ads.

No monthly fee. You pay a price per qualified lead, agreed in writing before anything runs, and nothing for a lead that misses the bar you set. It starts at $35 a lead and depends on your trade. Yours is fixed after a free review of your account.

The paid ads offer

You pay per qualified lead, not per month

No retainer. You pay for qualified leads and booked appointments, and only for the ones that meet the criteria you agreed before we started.

  • Per lead, not per month: You pay for qualified leads and booked appointments rather than for clicks, traffic or a monthly fee.
  • You set the bar, before anything runs: A roofing estimate, a legal consultation, a property viewing, a software demo. We agree what counts in writing first.
  • No charge, if it does not qualify: A lead that misses the criteria you agreed is not billed. The risk of a bad lead sits with us, which is the point.

50 qualified leads in a month, or the next month is free. Agreed in writing before launch, against the qualification criteria you set. Miss the number and you pay nothing for the following month.

What agencies usually charge to run ads.

These are management fees, charged whether or not a lead arrives. We do not charge one. Checked on 3 October 2026.

BandManagement feeWhere the figure comes from
Low $750 a month flat WebFX Lite plan and LYFE Marketing entry plan
Typical 10% to 20% of ad spend, or $1,000 to $3,000 a month WebFX PPC pricing page
High $4,500 a month or 12% of spend, plus $5,800 to start WebFX Enterprise plan
Mavix No management fee. From $35 per qualified lead No retainer. You pay for qualified leads and booked appointments, and only for the ones that meet the criteria you agreed before we started.

Per lead costs more than a percentage when the account works, and nothing when it does not. That difference is the price of us carrying the risk.

What you get

Three sizes. Most accounts belong in the middle.

Each size shows where its price starts. The review decides which one fits, and your price is quoted against it in writing.

Leads from the people already searching

Starter

From $45 per qualified lead

A business whose customers already search for what it sells and needs enquiries this month.

  • Google Ads search campaigns built around cost per qualified lead
  • Conversion tracking rebuilt before anything is optimised
  • Negative keywords and search terms read every week
  • Landing page matched to each ad group
  • Reporting at query level, with cost per qualified lead first
For Starter, after the free review.

Every channel, several offers or locations, one price per lead

Scale

From $35 per qualified lead

Businesses advertising on several platforms, or running several offers, markets or locations at once.

  • Everything in Growth
  • Microsoft Ads and TikTok where the audience is there
  • Creative production for video and static
  • Budget moved between platforms on cost per qualified lead
  • CRM integration so closed deals feed back into bidding
  • Quarterly strategy review against commercial targets
For Scale, after the free review.

In every size

  • No retainer. A price per qualified lead, agreed in writing before launch
  • You define what qualifies. A lead that misses the bar is not billed
  • Ad spend goes to the platform on your own account, which you keep
  • Tracking set up and verified before a pound is spent on optimising
  • A dedicated account manager and the founder on every monthly review
  • You own the ad accounts, the pixels and the creative, including the day you leave

What you are paying for, and what you are not.

Naming what is not included is what makes the inclusions believable.

In the fee

  • The free review of the account before you commit
  • Conversion tracking rebuilt and verified before anything is optimised
  • Campaigns, ads, negatives and landing page matching, built and managed
  • Creative and offer testing on the Growth and Scale sizes
  • A dedicated account manager and the founder on every monthly review
  • Reporting that opens with cost per qualified lead

Billed separately, or not sold

  • Ad spend. Billed by Google or Meta to your own card, on your own account, which you keep
  • Leads that miss the criteria you agreed. They are not billed
  • Landing page rebuilds beyond the matching and fixes in scope; a full rebuild is scoped first
  • Third-party software licences, where a specific tool is genuinely needed

Four things decide what your account costs.

From a real account 6.74x return on ad spend £31.4K conversion value from £4.66K spend, at £15.87 per conversion.
01

What a qualified lead is worth in your category

A roofing estimate, a legal consultation and a software demo are worth different amounts, and the price per lead reflects that. The criteria are agreed in writing first, so both sides know what is being bought.

02

How much demand the searches carry

A category with thousands of buying searches a month can be paid per lead from day one. A category with a few hundred needs Meta to create the demand, which changes the plan and the price.

03

The state of the account and the tracking

An account whose conversion action counts the wrong thing has been optimising against noise, sometimes for years. The first fortnight on that account is repair, before any lead can be priced honestly.

04

Whether the landing pages convert

Paid traffic is unforgiving of a page that does not answer the ad. Where the pages need work before leads can be produced at the agreed price, that work is scoped and priced first.

After you say yes

The first 30 days, in four steps.

What happens between the free review and your first monthly report, whether you are moving from another agency, an in-house team, or doing it yourself.

  1. 1 Before you pay

    The free review

A person opens the ad account with read access, writes up where the spend is going that is not coming back, and quotes a price per qualified lead against criteria you set.

  2. 2 Days 1 to 7

    Tracking first

Every conversion action read and corrected, so calls, forms and purchases are counted as the leads they are. Nothing is optimised on a wrong number.

  3. 3 Days 8 to 21

    Rebuild and launch

Campaigns restructured around the searches that buy, negatives applied from ninety days of search terms, landing pages matched to ad groups.

  4. 4 Days 22 to 30

    First leads billed, first report

The first qualified leads arrive and are billed against the written criteria. The first monthly report opens with cost per qualified lead.

After day 30. From month two the budget follows whatever produces qualified leads cheapest, creative is tested on a schedule, and Meta is added where the searches run out. Month two is when the volume promise on the Growth size starts.

Who works on your account

  • A dedicated account manager, your one named contact week to week.
  • Specialists per channel, from a team of 30 across search, paid ads and email.
  • The founder on every monthly review, reading the report with you.
  • Certified on the platforms the work runs on, shown on every page of this site.

Is paid ads the right service for you?

It is, if these three are true.

  • You can say in one sentence what a good lead is, so the criteria can be written down
  • You can answer leads within the hour, because a fast reply is where most of the value is
  • Your customers search for what you sell, or Meta can create the demand for it

Not sure? The free review says so plainly, and points at the service that fits instead.

The other option

Doing it in-house, against having it done here.

Every row is a difference in how the two are set up, not a claim about results. Some businesses are right to hire. This is how to tell.

Factor In-house Mavix
Team One or two hires covering everything A dedicated account manager, specialists per channel, the founder on every monthly review
Expertise Depends on who you can hire and keep Search, paid ads and email run as one team, on accounts across many industries
Cost structure Salary, benefits and tools, whether or not results arrive A monthly fee against a written target, or per qualified lead on paid ads
Hiring Weeks to months to recruit, plus the risk of a wrong hire None. The free review comes first, and work starts once access is granted
Training Yours to fund and keep current as the platforms change Included. Certified on the platforms the work runs on
Tools Licences bought and learned by you The research, tracking and reporting tools are part of the engagement
Strategy Set by whoever is available Written into a scope after the review, with a target attached
Execution Limited by one person's hours Changes logged weekly, implemented directly where you give access
Reporting Whatever the platform exports A monthly report that opens with enquiries, not impressions
Account management You manage the person One named contact, and the founder in the monthly review
Scaling up or down Another hire, or a redundancy A scope change between sizes, month to month with thirty days notice
Ownership Yours Yours. Every account, page and file, including the day you leave

Reviews

What clients say, in their own words.

4.9 out of 5 from 22 published reviews

Arjun Malhotra Director, Malhotra Packaging

I have been in business long enough to know that every agency has a presentation about why they are different. That part doesn't interest me. What mattered to us was whether they understood our market and whether they would actually do the work after the meeting was over. So far, they've been practical, responsive and consistent. We discuss priorities, the team works on them, and we review what was done. I prefer that kind of relationship.

Trustpilot review
Camila Torres Founder, Casa Bonita Events

I am probably not the easiest person to build a landing page for because I change my mind constantly. First I wanted it minimal. Then more colour. Then less colour. Then I hated the headline. Then I wanted the old headline back. 😂 What I liked was that the team didn't get irritated or disappear every time I asked for another round of changes. We kept working through it until it finally felt like us.

My son said we needed SEO. I said fine, but I didn't want to hear about it every week. Mavix sorted the important stuff and kept it simple.

Before you decide

Questions people ask before paying for paid ads.

01 What does a qualified lead mean?

Whatever you and we agree in writing before launch: a roofing estimate booked, a consultation with the right case type, a demo with a company of the right size. A lead that misses the criteria is not billed. The definition sits in the contract, not in a report.

02 What decides my price per lead?

Your trade, mostly. A booked legal consultation costs more to win than a booked spa appointment, so the price per qualified lead starts at $35 and rises with what the lead is worth, and the table above shows where each trade starts. Volume brings it down. The figure is fixed in writing before launch, and there is no setup fee.

03 What about online stores?

A store sells by checkout, not by enquiry, so a price per lead does not fit. Stores are quoted a flat monthly fee after the review, against a return on ad spend target agreed in writing.

04 Is there a monthly fee at all?

No. Ad spend goes to Google or Meta on your own card and your own account. The management is paid per qualified lead. If no qualified leads arrive, nothing is invoiced for management that month.

05 What is the volume promise?

50 qualified leads in a month, or the next month is free. Agreed in writing before launch, against the qualification criteria you set. Miss the number and you pay nothing for the following month.

06 What happens to a lead I think is not qualified?

You flag it, we check it against the written criteria, and if it misses, it comes off the invoice. The risk of a bad lead sits with us, which is the point of the model.

07 Do I need Meta as well as Google?

Not always. If your customers search for what you sell, Starter is the honest starting point. Meta earns its place when the searches run out or when the product is something people do not know to search for yet.

08 Who owns the ad account?

You do, from day one. The account, the pixel, the audiences and the creative are yours, and they stay yours on the day you leave.

09 How is the price per lead decided?

After the free review, against what a qualified lead is worth in your category, how much demand the searches carry, the state of the tracking, and whether the landing pages convert. It is quoted in writing with the criteria beside it, before anything runs.

10 How much do I need to spend on ads?

Ad spend is separate from the price per lead and goes to Google or Meta on your own card. The review says what the searches in your category cost and what spend produces a sensible volume, so the budget is set on your numbers rather than a round figure.

11 When do the first leads arrive?

Tracking is fixed in the first week and campaigns are rebuilt and launched inside the first three weeks, so the first qualified leads are usually billed inside the first month. The volume promise on the Growth size starts from month two.

12 How do I move from my current agency without losing the account?

The account stays yours, so nothing has to be rebuilt from scratch. Read access first for the review, then admin access, then the tracking is corrected before a campaign is touched. Campaign history is kept so the platform does not lose what it has learned.

13 What do I get each month, and who do I talk to?

A monthly report that opens with cost per qualified lead, the search terms read weekly with the negatives added, and a review with the founder. Your account manager is the person you email or call in between.

14 Can I stop or change the size?

Month to month, with thirty days notice. Moving between Starter, Growth and Scale is a scope change, not a new contract, and the ad account, pixels and creative stay yours either way.
