SEO case study · 11 August 2024 to 7 February 2025
A dental clinic went from under 15 search clicks a day to over 100
The clinic was below page two for its main treatments. From November 2024 the site was rebuilt around treatment and local searches, and the lines have climbed every month since.

Who the business is
A dental practice serving one city. It is not named here, so it is described by its trade and by what the chart shows.
Why marketing mattered
Higher-value treatments are researched before they are booked. A clinic that is not on the first pages for those searches does not get the call.

What was not working
The problem
A dental clinic that was close to invisible for the treatments it most wanted to book. Through late summer and autumn the site sat below page two for the searches patients use.
- The clinic was below page two for its main treatment searches.
- Search brought fewer than about fifteen clicks a day.
- Visibility for higher-value treatments was especially weak.
Where things stood before the work began
From August to early November 2024 both lines run low and flat. The clinic was getting a handful of search visits a day.
What we found, and why we started there
The thinking
Treatment searches and local searches were the two places a clinic this size could move fastest. Mavix used AI-assisted analysis to find what patients search for by treatment, and rebuilt the pages and the local presence around it.
How we did it, step by step
- 1
Treatment pages rebuilt for patient searches
Each main treatment got a page written for the way patients search for it, from 9 November 2024.
- 2
Local presence tightened
The pages and the business listing were aligned so the clinic could appear in the local results for those treatments.
What the numbers show
The result
4.58K
organic clicks in six months
4.58K clicks from 250K impressions at an average position of 22. Daily clicks stay under about 15 until early November 2024 and pass 100 by early February 2025.

How to read this, and what it does not prove
About six months of Search Console totals, 11 August 2024 to 7 February 2025. The position is an average over the whole period. The bands and labels on the chart were added by Mavix.
The average position of 22 covers the whole period, including the three months before the change, so the current position is likely better than that. The daily figures are read from the chart by eye. Clicks are visits, not booked appointments, and no booking figure was supplied. The chart is an annotated image, not the raw export, and the client is not named, so a reader cannot check it against the account. It is one account with no control group: it shows what happened after the change, and it cannot show how much of that the change caused.

What you can take from this
Give each treatment its own page
A single "services" page cannot rank for implants, whitening and emergencies at once.
Growth comes in steps
The chart rises in three stages over three months. Search rarely moves in a straight line.
Track calls and bookings
Clicks show the clinic is being found. Booked appointments show whether it paid.
