Cookie policy
Last updated 17 September 2026.
The short version
This site uses cookies for three things: running the site (necessary), seeing how pages are used (analytics), and measuring which ads bring enquiries (advertising). Necessary cookies are always on. You can switch the other two off at any time.
How your choice works
- Europe, the UK and Switzerland. If your device's time zone is in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, or your device hides its time zone, you see a cookie choice first. Until you choose, Meta, Microsoft Clarity, RB2B, Ahrefs and Brevo do not run. Google's tags set no cookies and send only cookieless measurement pings.
- Everywhere else. Analytics and advertising tools run by default.
- Essential only. Anyone can choose it under Cookie settings in the footer of every page. Clarity and the Meta Pixel stop straight away, and the other tools stop from the next page you open. Google's cookieless pings continue.
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends this signal, advertising is always off, even if you chose "Accept all" before. It does not change analytics.
In short, advertising is allowed by default outside Europe, or after "Accept all", and never when Global Privacy Control is on. Every analytics and advertising tool loads through Google Tag Manager, only on mavixmarketing.com.

|---|---|---|---|

| Microsoft Clarity | Analytics | _clck, _clsk, plus Microsoft cookies such as CLID and MUID | _clck 1 year, _clsk 1 day, Microsoft cookies up to 1 year |
| Ahrefs Web Analytics | Analytics | None | Not applicable |
| Google Ads | Advertising | _gcl_au and related | Up to 90 days |
| Meta Pixel | Advertising | _fbp, _fbc | 90 days each |

| Brevo | Advertising | sib_cuid | Up to 6 months |
What the tools are for
- Google Analytics and Ahrefs count visits and actions on the site. When analytics is allowed, Google Analytics also receives the source and campaign you arrived from.
- Microsoft Clarity makes heatmaps and session recordings, with form fields masked.
- Google Ads and the Meta Pixel measure which ads bring enquiries, and Google Ads can build remarketing audiences. If advertising is allowed, our server may also send Meta a "Lead" event when you send an enquiry.
- RB2B identifies businesses that visit, and for US visitors can tell us who the professional is.
- Brevo links visits to people already in our Brevo contacts.
- The Cal.id booking calendar loads only if you open it.
The privacy policy explains what each tool receives.
Stored in your browser, but not a cookie
The site also keeps mavix_attr_v1 (how you arrived, read for 90 days, kept for
every visitor to credit enquiries), mavix_consent_v1 (your cookie choice), and
small notes that stop a popup repeating, stop a lead being counted twice, and switch on tag
testing for the site owner.
How to remove them
Your choice stays saved until you change it or clear site data. To delete cookies already set, use your browser settings. Clearing site data removes the browser storage above too, and the site still works without any of it.
